So far, the research process is going pretty well. Finding sources for this has actually gone pretty well and there are a fair amount of video sources available for the content I have chosen.
Here are the sources I have gathered thus far:

Hey Cynthia!
ReplyDeleteI looked over your research report for Project 3 and it looks like you have a great collection of sources to work with so far. The articles and videos you found and analyzed will give diversity in the types of sources you're presenting in a video essay for your project genre (I think?).
With the intended audience section of the report you were very specific with the group that the source was targeted at and I think that will be helpful in choosing how to use the sources in your project to present the public argument and make your side seem more viable. There is also a lot of credibility in the sources you chose because of the big celebrity names that the gender wage gap controversy centers around (i.e. Sandra Bullock and Oprah). This will get the audience to relate to and understand better your argument and the Youtube videos you have will also let the audience visually lay out the argument for themselves. One suggestion that I might give is finding a source where the author is someone who fully disbelieves that the gender wage gap exists. This would give the extreme opposition to your argument and give something to rebut in your project content. Again, great job and good luck with next week's work!
